About Us
Walking into a new church can be intimidating and at times terrifying depending on your previous church experience. If you are considering attending one of our worship services, we encourage you to step beyond fear and come check it out! We aim to make this to be a place where you feel warmly welcomed and where you can make friends quickly. But beyond that, we aim to make this a place where you will be able to easily and genuinely experience the presence of God.
Estes Park Baptist Church has been around for many years. The people of Estes Park Baptist have seen God do remarkable things over the years. Recently, the church has begun moving in an exciting new direction. We want to be an active part of our community. We want to serve the people and businesses of Estes Park and love them well.
Lead Pastor
Bruce and Becky Finger
Bruce has a heart for Christ and has served God’s churches in a variety of roles over the years. He is most honored and excited to serve Cornerstone Church of Estes Valley as the lead pastor since February 2021. Bruce cares deeply for people and demonstrates this by his strong relationships with his congregation. He is active in the community and has served on many Boards for various churches, the Fire District and Loveland Classical School. Bruce considers pastoring the wonderful people of Cornerstone Church the most fulfilling of all callings. He delivers biblical knowledge in an expository preaching style. His goal is to ensure all people know the tremendous sacrifice of Jesus Christ so they may have a solid eternal destiny! His goal for every believer is that they obtain a thorough understanding of the Scriptures, so they grow mature in their faith and finish the race strong!
Becky leads the Women’s Ministry at Cornerstone. She is passionate about women studying the Bible and serving in the local church. She enjoys decorating and taking care of the needs of our entire congregation. She and Bruce delight in the beauty of Estes Park with their Bernese mountain dog!
Associate Pastor
Charlie and Sarah Busch
Charlie has a background in serving Christ for over 30 years in a variety of positions including lead pastor of several churches in Kansas and Nebraska. He has been the associate pastor at Cornerstone since July 2024 where he contributes in a host of ways, including teaching God’s Word mid-week, leading the Men's ministry, overseeing the operations of our multi-building campus, and coordinating our music ministry. He is part of our Missions Committee and has a passion to serve both God and people!
Sarah leads various craft day events at Cornerstone, supports Charlie with mid-week Bible studies and uses her gifted voice to help lead worship. She is a member of the Estes Chorale Society, homeschools their 4 beautiful children and enjoys painting, baking, and visiting. She is the glue that holds the entire Busch clan together!
